Of course iChallengeU changed my life. Firstly I gave me better presentation and social skills. It also allowed me an inside view of how area businesses and organizations help run our schools and city. I’m not sure if I’ll use any of the scholarship opportunities, but I’m definitely keeping my options open.
My advice to anyone that is considering being a part of iChallengeU is to keep a friendly, open mind. When I arrived on my first day, my group was definitely different than I imagined. I’m still in contact with all my group members to this day because of this experience. I’m also in touch with several business owners and workers that have given me amazing advice for going to college and getting a job.
Overall, the iChallengeU experience was very beneficial for me and I couldn’t recommend it more!

I think the best part of the program for me was getting to meet all these new people and working with them. Through this program I learned that stepping out of your comfort zone can be a great thing, if I hadn’t I wouldn’t have gotten to work with all the awesome people in the program. I think others should get involved because not only could it get you scholarships but it also gets you connections and attention from other companies and colleges for more opportunities.

Terron Grant, a graduating senior from Hillsdale High School, took part in iChallengeU during the summer of 2018. At the conclusion of Terron’s team’s final public presentation, the Siena Heights representative invited him to attend the university. During Terron’s informational orientation, he was offered a scholarship valued at $32,000 per year for up to four years. He is currently in his second year studying business management with an emphasis in accounting.
“I wouldn’t have been able to attend college if I hadn’t participated in iChallengeU. It’s a great experience for students who are unsure about their future.”
